Yin Yoga is a meditative stable practice that uses the breath as an anchor to hold the asana/poses for a period of time, usually about 2 and ½ minutes or more. Each class begins with roughly 5 minutes of meditation, after which we enter into breath and body work. Yin work aims to massage the connective tissues of the body, increasing circulation in the joints and improving overall flexibility.
