We take a unique approach to winemaking at Shepherd’s Run. In our view wine should be both local and global. It is a means to connect us to the soil under our feet as well as cultures thousands of miles away.
With this philosophy at the heart of our winemaking process we will be offering not only estate grown selections, but also regional, and eventually global offerings.
The terroir of each vineyard is unique and we aim to express that through our winemaking process at Shepherd's Run.
We partner with growers across the country, who have aligned interests and a desire to trust the "fruits of their labor" in our winemaking hands.
Our winemaking style is one of less is more. We will never try to make one vintage or varietal match another. We will never take shortcuts or add compounds to hide or disguise a wine's authenticity. We will always produce wines in small batches with a slow production mentality to preserve and respect the fruit, the terroir, and the farmer.
We believe wines of the world can unite us. Who won’t raise a glass to that?
WINERY RESERVATIONS
Enjoy a Shepherd's Run wine tasting experience like no other. Online reservations are available to parties of six (6) or fewer.
At your tasting our host team is always willing to share as much information as you'd like about the history of Shepherd's Run and each of our wines. We also understand if you just came for a glass or two and desire to connect with family or friends. Our atmosphere is one of casual relaxation. We are here if you need us, but happy to just provide you space and a good beverage as well.
Upon arrival you and your party will be able to select from wines by the glass or bottle, as well as a variety of wine flight options. Other specials, small bites, and culinary experiences will also be available for purchase.
A gratuity of 20% will be added to parties of six or more.
Note: If the time and day does not show on the calendar it means that we may be fully booked or closed. If you cannot find the date and time you are looking for, or if you are booking less than 24 hours in advance, please call to inquire about availability. We are no longer accepting reservations for Sundays as this is now a walk-in only day.
GROUP RESERVATIONS
For parties of seven (7) or more please reach out via the contact form below and we will arrange a wine experience tailored specifically to your needs.
Whether you are simply looking for a large table and a place to mingle with family or friends, a private space to spread out, a unique food and wine pairing, or a structured wine education tasting our host team can craft the perfect experience.
Depending on the timing, size and interests of your group we can offer wine flights, food pairings, large cheese and charcuterie boards, bottle service, or a-la-carte options.
In order to provide the best service experience for your group and our other guests we require advance booking. Multiple reservations made via the winery reservation form with requests to be seated together cannot be accommodated due to limited seating.
