EVENTS
Shepherd’s Run, New England’s newest full-service event venue is able to accommodate gatherings up to 300 people with an all-inclusive special occasion destination experience. From intimate parties to large scale weddings and celebrations, Shepherd’s Run has an array of indoor and outdoor event spaces. Our signature sailcloth wedding tent, with its cherry wood poles, and 25’ peaked canvas structure, is situated at the rear of the manor on the lower lawn overlooking our east vineyard. Wedding ceremonies can be held in our indoor event hall or the Beatrix Farrand designed walled garden. The thirty-six acre estate boasts numerous additional spaces for gatherings including the winemaker’s room, wine hall, manor terrace, and Sturges Study. Each can be adapted to fit the needs of your special event.
In addition to the numerous gathering spaces, Shepherd’s Run also boasts ten guest rooms. Each is designed with a fresh take on traditional New England craftmanship. To create a one of a kind destination experience full property buyouts are also available.

Event Hall
The 3,000 square foot main event hall with its towering ceiling, exposed glue-lam construction, and traditional New England charm is the perfect canvas for a wedding ceremony or indoor reception.
Wine Hall
The historic post and beam trellis work, original fishing rope crown molding, and quarry tile floor of the great hall is reminiscent of a bygone era. With its dramatic stone fireplace anchoring the room, it is ideal space for hosting both intimate dinners and banquet style gatherings.
Winemaker's Room
This two story space is designed to host seasonal tastings and wine dinners. The room benefits from vaulted ceilings and overlooks the stainless steel tanks of the fermentation floor below. With white board and batten walls and wine barrels aging many of our red varietals, guests are surrounded by our wine craft at Shepherd's Run.
Rush Sturges Study
The smallest of our indoor spaces, the study is a cozy victorian inspired room. Designed with warm hues and lounging furniture, the study is the perfect location for private tastings, showers, and parties. Additionally, double dutch doors open up to the Manor Terrace allowing guests to enjoy both a private and public experience.
Hazard Family Salon
Our second smallest space in the Shepherd's Run Manor, the salon is available for private rentals. The Hazard Family Salon is located adjacent to our wine bar and provides soft seating for intimate private tastings and events.

Sailcloth Celebration Tent
Our signature event tent can scale up in size to 5,400 square feet. It is able to accommodate anything from small weddings to large 300+ person galas.
Beatrix Farrand Walled Garden
This 3,000 square foot garden is perfect for cocktail receptions and gatherings. It's the perfect opener to any signature Shepherd's Run event.
Manor Terrace
With a vineyard and Narrow River to the east and our historic manor to the west, the patios, terraces, and gardens of the 6,000 square foot Manor Terrace are a wonderful informal breakout space, post celebration in the event hall.
