2018 Carneros Pinot Noir
2018 Carneros Pinot Noir
Wine Summary
Our 2018 Pinot Noir has been evolving since its release and we expect it to continue to age beautifully for years to come. The wine was fermented in the Carneros Region and then barrel aged and blended at Shepherd's Run with a mix of neutral and new french oak barrels.
This Pinot is an earthy version of the varietal in contrast to some of the the berry forward alternatives that exist today. Expect notes of leather, cherry, and mushroom. This wine offers complexity and length. Try it with bold ethnic flavors, roasts, or your favorite dark chocolate dessert. We think you won't be disappointed.
