2022 North Fork Chardonnay
2022 North Fork Chardonnay
Wine Summary
Ready to try a different breed of Chardonnay? While our Chardonnay still offers that warm bread finish typical to most, ours relinquishes some of the stronger vanilla notes in favor of enhanced aromatics and varietal characteristics of apple and pear. This change is due to the stainless steel in lieu of oak aging. The strong body, brie and bread notes of this wine were developed via sur lee aging on the yeast lees for an extended timeframe in stainless steel.
