Keri is a 200h RYT whose love for yoga began as a young adult, looking for a form of exercise that felt like a natural extension of her gymnastics background. A consistent practitioner now for over 20 years, she felt called to share her passion for movement, meditation and more. Keri’s style of teaching offers students the building blocks they need to safely take their physical practice to whatever level is appropriate for their bodies and abilities. Her classes generally offer moderately paced sequences that challenge the body while bringing awareness to breath and encouraging an exploratory quality to movement, offering modifications for all levels. Students can expect strong verbal cues with an emphasis on proper alignment and the foundations that asana is built on, attention to breath and detaching from the distractions of the outside world. Her teaching spans across all age groups, offering classes to young children, teenagers and adults, with a range of class options from deep stretching to hot vinyasa.
